Founded in 2023, IceLicious was created with one mission: to help people discover just how incredible they are.
From our regular pop-ups at Saunders Rock Beach in Cape Town to unforgettable experiences on the banks of the Crocodile River bordering the Kruger National Park, we've been bringing the power of cold-water immersion to people in some of South Africa's most spectacular locations.
So, where did the name IceLicious come from? It's the feeling you get when you shift from your sympathetic nervous system into your parasympathetic nervous system — when you go from fight or flight to rest and digest, surrender, and suddenly the cold feels surprisingly… delicious.
That's also the inspiration behind our warm, vibrant logo. It represents the heat and resilience you discover within yourself, even in the coldest conditions.
